Index Data’s Peter Murray Leading NISO Training on RESTful APIs

Peter Murray (Open Source Community Advocate) is leading an 8-week online training session for NISO on Working with Scholarly Information Resource RESTful APIs. As the lead instructor, Peter gives participants a grounding in HTTP REST principles and then guides attendees through guest lectures from representatives several prominent companies and projects, including CrossRef, Orcid, OCLC, and IIIF. This hands-on training takes principles from the broader web community and applies them to services and needs that are specific to the library and publishing fields.
