The ReShare Community is a group of libraries, consortia, information organizations, and developers, with both commercial and non-commercial interests, who came together in 2018 to create a new and open approach to library resource sharing systems. The Community’s bold vision is to build a user-centered, app-based, community-owned resource sharing platform for libraries that sets the standard for how to connect library patrons to the resources they require. Index Data is joined by Knowledge Integration as the lead developers while a group of resource sharing consortia led by PALCI and TRLN provide community leadership and subject matter expertise. Project ReShare is a living example of open, community-based product management.
