The Complete FOLIO Training: Abridged, Monday, 9:00 (on-site only—pre-registration required, WOLFcon schedule), Tara Barnett
Whether you’re going live or already using FOLIO, creating a FOLIO training program for your institution can be daunting! This workshop will provide a comprehensive framework for designing and implementing effective FOLIO training programs tailored to your institution’s unique needs. Rather than attempting to cover every workflow in exhaustive detail, experts from FOLIO Implementers will present a strategic “abridged” overview of all FOLIO areas, equipping you with the foundation and resources needed to expand and customize training for your specific library context. This workshop will be a fun way to learn more about FOLIO and will help prepare you to teach others with confidence.

FOLIO SIG Showcase, Tuesday, 1:10 (convert to your time zone, WOLFcon schedule), Tara Barnett
The goal of this collaborative showcase is to introduce attendees to various FOLIO Special Interest Groups (SIGs) through a series of 5-minute lightning presentations. Each participating SIG will briefly explain their purpose, activities, and the types of issues they address. This session aims to help new community members identify where they might want to contribute while giving existing members insight into the work of other groups.
Finding Your Way Around the FOLIO Community, Tuesday, 1:10 (convert to your time zone, WOLFcon schedule), Peter Murray
Welcome to FOLIO! A strength of the FOLIO community is the close working relationships between project participants. Some have been working on the project for most of a decade, and we want to start you on your FOLIO journey. FOLIO is a complex project with many cooperating interests, communication tools, and a legacy of “how things have been done.” This session introduces new community members to the groups, tools, and processes around the FOLIO project.
FOLIO Implementers Group Working Session, Tuesday, 2:20 (convert to your time zone, WOLFcon schedule), Tara Barnett with Darsi Rueda (Stanford University) and Thomas Trutt (Cornell University)
This session is for the FOLIO Implementers SIG. We will use this working session to reflect on meetings we’ve had over the past year, gather up goals for the coming year, and generate ideas for our 2026 calendar. We will also discuss the pros and cons of the Implementers Programming Board, which was new as of 2025. No prerequisite knowledge is needed, and all are welcome.
The Future of Closed is Open: Museum Libraries Empowered by FOLIO, Tuesday, 2:20 (convert to your time zone, WOLFcon schedule), Lauren Seney with Dan Lipcan (Peabody Essex Museum), Natalie Koziar (Philadelphia Museum of Art), and Kori Newboles (Winterthur Museum)
This session showcases how institutions managing diverse materials are leveraging FOLIO to transform public access to their specialized collections. Panelists will discuss how FOLIO’s adaptable architecture addresses their institution-specific needs, enabling customized metadata frameworks and workflows while revolutionizing discovery services and expanding community engagement opportunities. Attendees will learn how museums and special libraries bridge the technical gaps between different collection formats and access models, creating more seamless connections between diverse materials and their audiences.
Cross App SIG Working Session, Wednesday, 9:30 (convert to your time zone, WOLFcon schedule), Tara Barnett
One of the major tasks of the Cross App SIG is reviewing and prioritizing issues that do not fit easily into other SIGs. We will use this working group to analyze what has been accomplished over the last year, and refine our prioritizations for the upcoming year. This session is intended for members or prospective members of the App Interaction SIG.
Search and Standards Documentation, Wednesday, 11:00 (convert to your time zone, WOLFcon schedule), Tara Barnett
This session aims to improve documentation of user facing search syntax and behavior within the FOLIO platform, across all apps. We will focus on creating the most useful resource for future development across all apps.
Integrating Library Data Platform with FOLIO: Analytics-Driven Decision Making, Wednesday, 1:10 (convert to your time zone, WOLFcon schedule),
We’ll walk through a series of scenarios and use cases where we are using LDP to solve analytics, reporting and operational problems, primarily around FOLIO usage.
Community Driven Development, Wednesday, 2:30 (convert to your time zone, WOLFcon schedule), Charlotte Whitt with Martin Scholz (University Library Erlangen-Nürnberg) and Jeremy Huff (Texas A&M University)
In this session members of the FOLIO Product Council will outline a plan for re-introducing Community Driven Development into the FOLIO development model. The purpose of this session is to explain what Community Driven Development is, examine how FOLIO has arrived at its current state of development practices, and engage the community in a conversation about how the Community Driven Development model could impact and empower our FOLIO community. The session will conclude with a discussion of concrete next steps, including how community members can participate, what structures might support this model, and how we might evaluate its success over time.
Beyond the Walled Garden: Alma, ReShare, CrossLink and Interoperable Resource Sharing, Wednesday, 2:30 (convert to your time zone, WOLFcon schedule), Jakub Skoczen and Mallory Kasinec with Allen Jones (The New School)
In most resource-sharing environments, software platforms operate as closed networks—transactions are only possible between libraries using the same system. This limitation reduces flexibility and stifles collaboration across broader lending networks.
This presentation introduces CrossLink, an open-source middleware solution designed to address these interoperability challenges. CrossLink enables ISO18626-compliant communication between disparate resource-sharing systems—specifically allowing requests to pass between Alma and ReShare, and potentially across consortia running ReShare or even different lending networks. It serves as a system-neutral broker, translating and routing requests while preserving local workflows and delivery interfaces.
FOLIO JIRA Improvements, Wednesday, 3:50 (convert to your time zone, WOLFcon schedule), Peter Murray with Khalilah Gambrell (EBSCO)
If you want to know about FOLIO development, you are using JIRA. It is an essential tool for the community. This session will be split into two parts: a discussion of how can we improve FOLIO JIRA and a sharing of tools or processes project members are using in FOLIO JIRA so that we all can enhance our JIRA skills.
FOLIO – JIRA : Office Hours, Thursday, 9:30 (convert to your time zone, WOLFcon schedule), Peter Murray with Khalilah Gambrell (EBSCO)
